Before anyone has a chance to wonder – yes, I do deliberately time my criticisms of militant Islamist shitheads to coincide with Rule Five Friday. If any militant Islamist shitbags are offended by the display of toothsome totty, I can only say this to them:
Go fuck yourselves.
Moving on: In Texas, just the other day, a couple of Islamist nutbars attempted an attack that failed miserably – because, Texas. Excerpt:
Police said the suspects drove to a parking lot entrance at at the event site, the Curtis Culwell center in the Dallas suburb of Garland. A patrol car blocked the entrance to the lot, so the men got out of their car and began shooting, Garland police spokesman Joe Harn said.
A security guard in the patrol car was wounded in the leg. Police killed the attackers, identified as Phoenix residents Elton Simpson, 30, and Nadir Soofi, 34.
The exhibit, hosted by the American Freedom Defense Initiative, featured “images of Islam’s prophet, both historic and contemporary, and speeches by leading voices of freedom and internationally renowned free speech advocates,” according to a press release by the group.
First of all – you’ve gotta love Texans. That Texas lawman stood against two terrorists armed with semi-auto rifles – with his service pistol – and killed them both. Good shootin’, Tex! Apparently the old Texas Rangers motto regarding effective correlation of forces – “One riot, one Ranger” – still applies.
Second of all – what gun-grabbing goof can say now that a properly handled pistol is of no use against a planned terror attack? And who can say now that a semi-auto rifle immediately transforms one into an unstoppable killing machine? It sure didn’t work for these two refugees from a Laurel and Hardy film.
But there’s something more important going on here. The war on Islamist shitbags has come to our shores, and most of the country doesn’t know it yet. ISIS has claimed responsibility for the Texas attack, although the two nutbag (incompetent) gunmen were likely inspired by ISIS rather than being under direct orders. Is it going to get worse? Judicial Watch thinks so:
ISIS is operating a camp just a few miles from El Paso, Texas, according to Judicial Watch sources that include a Mexican Army field grade officer and a Mexican Federal Police Inspector.
The exact location where the terrorist group has established its base is around eight miles from the U.S. border in an area known as “Anapra” situated just west of Ciudad Juárez in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. Another ISIS cell to the west of Ciudad Juárez, in Puerto Palomas, targets the New Mexico towns of Columbus and Deming for easy access to the United States, the same knowledgeable sources confirm.
During the course of a joint operation last week, Mexican Army and federal law enforcement officials discovered documents in Arabic and Urdu, as well as “plans” of Fort Bliss – the sprawling military installation that houses the US Army’s 1st Armored Division. Muslim prayer rugs were recovered with the documents during the operation.
Granted the evidence is rather circumstantial – in fact, it’s pretty damn flimsy. But what about jihadis already in the States? Can America afford to ignore them?
President Obama thinks so.
So does ISIS; in a recent statement on a Syrian radio station, they claimed “We tell … America that what is coming will be more grievous and more bitter and you will see from the soldiers of the caliphate what will harm you, God willing.”
Not all the attacks will be in Texas, and not all the responders will be as quick and accurate as that much-admired Texas cop.
Can we take ISIS at their word? I think we must. For the reasons behind that, tune in to the next Rule Five Friday.
