Animal’s Hump Day News

Happy Hump Day!

The Trump trial is wrapping up. The defense rested on Tuesday, and next Tuesday the jury will convene for final instructions and to begin deliberations.  And what, do you suppose, all those jurors will be doing, reading and watching between now and then?  In deeply liberal New York?

This is going to be a troubling outcome no matter what happens.

Now then…

On To the Links!

Biden may be eager to debate, but it’s because he’s senile and suffering from delusions of adequacy.

What states will Trump try to flip this year?

Maybe.  Not our problem.

This is known as belaboring the obvious.

Probably because it is madness.

Marco Rubio puts five in the ten ring.

They say when someone dies, you should say something good about them.  In the case of the late and unlamented President of Iran, I will only say, “He’s dead.  Good.”

Yes, Biden should step aside. But he probably won’t.  If anything, he’ll have to be removed.

Of course, there wasn’t.

I don’t care why people want to live in the US, so long as they come here legally, and have something to contribute.  Otherwise, we shouldn’t let them in.

The debates, yes, should be tougher on candidates – and also fairer.

This Week’s Idiots:

MSNBC’s Symone Sanders-Townsend is an idiot.

Well, now this is a stupid idea.

MSNBC’s Zeeshan Aleem is an idiot.

The Nation’s Theia Chatelle is an idiot.

HuffPost’s Kevin Robillard is an idiot.

Slate’s Alexander Sammon is an idiot.

This Week’s Cultural Edification:

How about some great Japanese jazz?  There is a great Japanese all-girl jazz band I’ve been listening to a fair amount lately; they are called The Jazz Avengers, and in concordance with Heinlein’s Principle of Least Action, they combine beauty and talent.  Here they are with their cover of Pick Up the Pieces.  Enjoy!
