Animal’s Hump Day News

Happy Hump Day!

Gotta love an Alaska winter.  Sunday night and Monday morning we got another 14″ of fluffy white powder dumped on us – then on Monday around lunchtime the power went out and was out for 2 1/2 hours.  But our local electrical co-op was on the ball and got the power back on; my buddy who plows our drive came by Monday afternoon and plowed, and I cleared the walkways.  Back in business!  In the Great Land, this is all in a day’s work.

Now then…

On To the Links!

No shit, Sherlock part deux

Because the world has gone insane?

This Week’s Cultural Edification:

In 1985, Dire Straits released their fifth studio album, Brothers in Arms.  That album included the tune Money for Nothing, which not only became a radio hit but also broke some new ground in music video, not only having a completely CGI-generated video but also actually mentioning MTV, which at the time actually played music.

The video was entertaining and fun.  Here, then – enjoy!
