President Biden(‘s handlers) approval ratings are in free fall, and it doesn’t look like there will be any improvement in the near future.  Issues & Insights tells us why.  Excerpt:

Conservatives predicted that by making a 180-degree turn on Trump’s border policies, Biden would create an immigration crisis.

Even leftist economists warned Biden that his reckless and unneeded $1.9 trillion “rescue” plan – which he signed a full year after the recession had ended – would take the nation into an inflationary spiral.

Biden had been warned by people on the ground that the Taliban would take over Afghanistan as soon as he started withdrawing troops.

And Biden made his promise to bring a swift end to COVID to help him win the election, not based on any epidemiological compass.

Biden is turning out to be the presidential equivalent of “Wrong Way” Corrigan, the real-life pilot who in 1938 set off to fly from New York to Long Beach, California, but went 3,000 miles in the opposite direction and ended up in Ireland.

Or, perhaps more appropriately, Biden is the new “Wrongway Feldman,” the fictional “Gilligan’s Island” pilot who was described as so incompetent that he once bombed his own airfield.

We’ll let history decide which one he resembles most.

Let’s be honest, here; whoever bears the blame for this Charles Fox of an administration, it’s almost certainly not Joe Biden.  Not really.  Our non compos mentis President is just the figurehead for persons unknown.  While Biden’s former boss, Barack Obama, once famously observed we should not “…underestimate Joe’s ability to fuck things up,” at this juncture it is abundantly clear that it’s the handlers that are running the show.

Observe the supposed President during any appearance:  His dilated pupils, his meandering speech, his shambling walk.  Observe his sudden fits of anger and his tendency to wander off.  Note his comments on how he was “instructed” to only take questions from the media types on his notes, or that he was not supposed to take questions.

And whoever is pulling the strings is manifestly incompetent.  We’re seeing what it’s like to live in a kakistocracy, True Believers, and it would be funny if it wasn’t so sad.
