Happy New Year, True Believers!  And for the first time this year (and certainly not the last) our thanks to Pirate’s Cove and The Other McCain for the Rule Five links.

On New Year’s Eve, with the California project three weeks from ending, Mrs. Animal went for a drive down the coast to the environs of Monterey Bay, which is a gorgeous area.  We did some walking, enjoying the clean sea air and watching such critters as pelicans, seals and cormorants.  Photos follow.  Enjoy!
