"There are no limits to either time or distance, except as Man himself may make them.
I have but to touch the wind to know these things."

- Hal Borland

In my life I've been many things.  Son, husband, father, grandfather; soldier, business owner, consultant; hunter, fisherman, and more.
I've traveled all over North America, Europe, and the Middle East.
The two constants in my life has been my love for the natural world in all of its incredibly varied forms, and my fascination with the endless variety of people I've met.  Many of the places I've been and the people I've met have inspired my writing, and much of that writing is here on this site for all to read.  I've tried to share these times, these places, these inspirations with you here.  There are still countless stories waiting to be told.
Come along, and together we will touch the wind.
