Reviews of Misplaced Compassion

My husband and I have been, and still are, targets of the ALF.  We live in (Removed for security reasons) and have been "hit" by ALF in Sept 2000 and again in Oct 2001, with their publicity fax statement promising they will be back each year until they put us out of business permanently.  As you may know, this is the time of year in which they make their hits, so needless to say we are on full alert.  My husband worked for almost 30 years in the animal husbandry side of research facilities at both private and academic institutions and was a member of the AALAS, regionally and nationally. An associate told us of your book and we purchased it immediately.

It is my husband's and my goal to loan your book to anyone willing to read it.  We are going to ask that they sign the back of  the book and pass it on to the next person.

Again, thank you for giving "us" a voice.  I am tired of only hearing "their" side of the story from the press.

Mr. Clark,  I have just finished reading your book, "Misplaced Compassion," and wanted to compliment you on its contents and thank you for taking the time and effort to write it.  As a laboratory animal veterinarian, I have fought PETA and the ARA for years.  In addition, I was an expert witness for Bobby Berosini in his suit against PETA and believe the eventual outcome in that case to be the worse travesty of justice that I have ever seen!  Again, thanks for publishing this book, I hope you are successful in marketing it to a large audience.

Regards, Dick

I received this book in the mail today from Ward and it is indeed a 'must have' book.

It has all the documentation one needs to fight these crazy ARA's.   Especially when dealing with legislative representatives and city/county ordinances, proposed or other.  It is well researched and clear and concise argument.

It needs to be in your library.

The Animal Rights Agenda Exposed

A FISH & FIELD LEGISLATIVE REPORT

As a youngster I had to make my own entertainment. I grew up in those long ago days before television, compact disk players, computers and DVD. Some of our best entertainment was listening to Capt. Midnight, The Lone Ranger, Jack Armstrong on an old fashioned Philco radio that sat on the shelf in the kitchen of our farm home.

When we were not out in the woods or along a creek or river fishing we resorted to reading. You know those old fashioned things called books. If it was pouring down rain or the snow was up to your knees and you had been out hunting all Saturday morning you curled up on the living room couch or floor with a good book.

Like most modern day Americans over the years I have drifted away from those books somewhat. I guess spending a given amount of time writing outdoor material and reading resource and reference material you sort of tire of relaxation reading. I do still manage to scan the local Maggot Media and Piranha Press. This is only for the purpose of finding out how my bungling burokrat guberment is putting the screws to me today. (My pun intentionally misspelled.)

A couple weeks back I came on the opportunity to acquire a newly published book. The publication is authored by an Internet friend. I asked him to send me a copy for review.

Saturday found temperatures dinging 90+ degrees and I would not even go out side. The air conditioner was cranking for all that was in it trying to keep the house at 75 degrees. Remember now that television is an insult to my mentality. This is particularly true following the news and weather.   It was about 10:30 when I picked up Ward M. Clark's book “Misplaced Compassion”. I was sitting at the dinning room table with a cup of coffee and listening to the last of the gabbing sports cast. I read the introduction and the preface and glanced at the index. My first thought was “Man this is going to be juicy. I'm just going to scan through a little bit of it and I will read it later.” The next thing I knew my wife came walking out into the dinning room and said, “Are you going to bed tonight its 3:45 in the morning?” I knew right then and there that I would not make it to church on this Sunday morning. I broke away from Misplaced Compassion to get another cup of coffee and wondered if I ought to go down to the desk and fire up the computer. I was thinking seriously about sending Ward an e-mail message offering to donate him my old second chance body armor. I finally went back to my book and almost finished it in time to wake the wife for church at 8:00 a.m.    I got to remember to send Ward Clark that e-mail and offer him my vest for I am sure once Misplaced Compassion get out into circulation every Animal Right Wacko in the country is going to be hunting him. He could well be the next literary author to have a bounty on his hide.

I have carried somewhat of a reputation of making enemies of politicians and animal rights people with my writings. Folks I cant hold a candle to the way Ward M. Clark exposes the Animal Rights Agenda and the various organizations that make up the animal rights movement in today's world. Ward M. Clarks “Misplaced Compassion” is straight from the hip, no holds barred, show no mercy and take no prisoners. From page one to the last page in the book Clark tell it like it is. The lies, the half truths, the contradictions, the myths and the real truth. The real truth is that the animal rights Wackos couldn't care less about the life of any animal.  Clark spent the last six years researching, debating, investigating and digging into the Animal Rights Movement. He has learned them inside and out.  Misplaced Compassion covers every avenue, street and back alley of the movement and where they want to go.  You will find every segment of the Animal Rights agenda in this book.  Hunting, farming, trapping, commercial fur farming, biomedical, vivisection and any other branch of the movement. Exposed is the terrorist activities of the Animal Liberation Front now listed by the FBI as an organized terrorist group.

Misplaced Compassion should be required reading for every high school student not because of making them hunters or fishermen but to make them aware of the fraud and deception that is used to obtain money and aid from the public. If all those senior citizens who send part of their social security checks to these people thinking that they in some way are helping wildlife or an animal would read Misplaced Compassion the movement would collapse within two years.

The information that Clark brings to the public in Misplaced Compassion is the reason I say that he should begin wearing body armor. One of these misguided people is sure to go off the deep end and go gunning for the man that exposed them in such detail.

Misplaced Compassion is now available at the cost of $21.95 from Writers Club Press of (iUniverse.com).  I do not know which book stores might carry it but as soon as I can find out you get the word right hear in Fish & Field Reports. I am sure that any book store can order it or if you have a computer literate friend they can acquire it for you.

One thing is for sure. Don’t ask to borrow my copy because this is one publication that will never see the outside of my office walls under any condition. I don't care if you offer to leave your wife, children or best hunting dog as a deposit. The answer is NO NO NO.   I would love to have Ward M. Clark do a book signing in our area and if the opportunity ever presents itself I sure will be pestering him to make a stop here.    Now get busy and get a copy of Misplaced Compassion and learn first hand just what we are fighting to save hunting, trapping, fishing, farming, and eating good wholesome meat.
